
Vadim Sidorov is an advisor to the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy in Central Asia on ethnogeopolitical affairs. He specializes in ethnopolitical and geopolitical issues, particularly in the post-Soviet space and Central Eurasia. He is also the author of works in the field of historiosophy.
Sidorov is a doctoral researcher in ethnology at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. He holds a nostrified Master of Law degree in the Czech Republic and a Candidate of Sciences in Law (PhD equivalent) from Russia. He previously held the status of advocate and practiced law in Russia.
He is the author of dozens of articles on ethnopolitical and geopolitical issues published in various media outlets, including the Tatar-Bashkir Service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, the Russian Service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, TRT Russian, and other media platforms.
Sidorov is also the founder of the Center Ostropa project. He participates in various regional, national, and international initiatives focused on the transformation of the post-Soviet space and Central Eurasia, as well as on building cooperative partnerships between its regions, particularly Central Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus.
